Supported formats
“Supported” is not one vague switch. Display, editing and Agent access are separate capabilities.

Format boundaries
System-preview quality depends on the preview macOS provides for the file. Heedit never converts a reference format into editable Markdown. If a format is read-only, editing, save, source write-back and Agent revision stay disabled together.
